Religious Ideology, Race, and Health Care Policy Attitudes

Abstract Using two national general population and one clergy survey, we examined racial differences in the association between religious theology health care policy attitudes. We find that controlling for faith, political partisanship, social-demographic characteristics, more strongly associates with White attitudes than it is Blacks Hispanics. Whereas theologically liberal Whites are likely their conservative counterparts to support universal healthcare and/or Obamacare, observed no such relationship among This true of both clergy.
